New pics in the header

As you can see we have some nice new pics of Matt that i have updated his header, and i think he is so damm cute. We have printed a few of them and they look so nice in frames that will eventually be put on the wall when i have finished need a few more frames. I had a lady ring us today to see if we wanted some baby pics taken, i dont think we need to spend the money to get nice pics when i am so pleased of the ones that Darryl and I take and cost very little. Later on we will get family pics taken as its a little hard for us to do that ourselves.

We have had our first holiday away and it was great Matt was so good he is such a good traveller, we enjoyed our time away and it was so nice to catch up with Leon, Shirelle, James ,Claire, Alisha, Peter, Jackson and Cooper.

Well the latest news is that Matt has had his oxygen turned down he is on .125 and is going really well. Next week we start 15mins per day without oxygen and then the next week its 15mins twice a day. I hope he goes well. Eventually he will go all day with out oxygen and only on at night so we are heading in the right direction with our oxygen.

Im slack

Hi we are all well and i have been soooo slack on updating Matt's Blog. He is doing very well and his personality is coming out more and more each day. Smiling more now and giggling aswell we have some caught on video but havent downloaded it just yet.

I cant believe he is al;ready 6 months old on the 16th of July time has really flown by especially the last 2 months being home. Also on the 31st of July it was 12 months since i had our blastacyst implanted and we all know it worked. I have a picture of the blastacyst that i will find and show you but im on the land computer and not the lap top where most of the pics are.

Rose had a question that many people have asked "how long will Matt be on oxygen" well the answer is we dont know, they say that babies are generally off oxygen by the time they are 12 months and going by waht i have been told by other preemie mums there babies came off at about 10-11 months .....all i know is Matt is on .25mls per litre per minute then when ready he goes diwn to .125 then he eventually weans off until he is off oxygen during the day and on at night then eventually off altogether. We go to Monash once a month for a test to see how he is going and they decide if he is ready to start weaning off. We go this Thursday so hopefully he might get turned down but if he doesnt thats ok there is next month.

PICS PICS PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Our little boy loves being at home and going out and about. He is starting to smile a lot more now. He has also starting to bath in a big boy bath on a frame and he loves it, he wasnt liking his small bath much. He gets weighed tomorrow i think he should be over 4.5kg, he has come a long way from being so tiny. Matt also is growing out of his clothes and he has started to wear some 3 zero clothes and cute jeans, i just love dressing him up. I did get a huge smile from him the other day when he had spewed on his clothes and had to change them and they werent colour co ordinated he just loved it that they didnt match was so funny he did a huge smile

A small update

Well we have been home now a few weeks and we are all loving being home as a family. Matt is a good baby sleeps well at night and pretty settled during the day. He has been out a few times and my gosh my boy loves shopping lol he just sleeps, he loves being in the car he just sleeps which is good. We have been doing a few photo shoots and the above pic was taken today before we changed his nasal prongs we dont get many pics with out his prongs and he wasnt a happy camper he settles after he has a cuddle. He got weighed today and he is 4.2kg
